The West Thang Long Road Construction Project (section from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal Road) is expected to start pouring capital with an amount of 150 billion VND.

According to the adjusted mid-term public investment plan approved at the recent meeting of the Hanoi City People’s Council, in 2024, the city will begin allocating funds for several new construction projects.

Among these is the construction project of the West Thang Long Road (section from the 3.5 Belt Road to the Dan Hoai Canal), in Dan Phuong district, with a total investment of 1,298.596 trillion VND. This year, Hanoi is expected to start allocating 150 billion VND for the project.

Upon completion in 2025, the road will contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Dan Phuong district specifically and the Northwest area of Hanoi in general.

In addition to the aforementioned West Thang Long Road, Hanoi will also begin funding for other projects such as: the 3.5 Belt Road section from Thượng Cát Bridge to National Highway 32 (total investment of 1.495 trillion VND, with 5 billion VND allocated this year); Tân Phú Bridge crossing the Đáy River, located in Quoc Oai district and Hoai Duc district (total capital of 119.6 billion VND, with 20 billion VND allocated this year); upgrading Provincial Road 428A from Cống Thần Bridge to Giẽ Bridge, in Phu Xuyen district (total investment of 125.8 billion VND, with 40 billion VND allocated this year).
